Villa Sparina Resort is an eco-friendly estate that is increasingly appreciated by tourists who are attentive to the environment and sustainability. The hotel was designed according to the principles of bio-architecture, which provide for a respectful use of natural resources and buildings in harmony with their natural environment. Renewable sources and energy saving are at the heart of the construction project to protect the environment.

The Villa Sparina Resort in Gavi is a friend of the environment in which it has been artfully integrated:

  • Particular attention was paid to the recovery and reuse of waste water which, once purified, is used to irrigate the lawns, gardens and vegetable patches through an artificial wetland system. Plants play a fundamental role: the microorganisms necessary for the artificial wetland develop in their roots. They trigger the chemical processes necessary for water purification by absorbing the oxygen produced by the plants.
  • The La Gallina restaurant is equipped with efficient energy technologies for cooking and refrigeration, which recover the energy produced and use it to preheat the water in the thermal system for showers, bathrooms, dishwashers, the underfloor heating and the other sources inside the Resort. The kitchens have natural-flow suction ceilings for more environmentally friendly air treatment.
  • The entire Villa Sparina Resort is equipped with sustainable 4.0 technologies and renewable energy sources, such as the photovoltaic system, heat pumps and a wood chip boiler.
  • All waste is separated and bio waste is used as a fertiliser for the green areas.
  • Our linen laundry is also eco-friendly.
  • Villa Sparina Resort has been selected as a “Porsche Destination Charging” and “Tesla Destination Charging” location: it is equipped with electric charging stations to promote sustainable transport.
