We welcome Chef Matteo Monfrinotti, who will lead our Reastaurant “La Gallina”, guarding the essential principles and the philosophy of our territory, giving them a new interpretation.
A young boy from Pavia, already citizen of many lands, where he has been able to inherit flavors and traditions, also due to the work experienced with the starred Chef Vera Caffini.
His attendance at “San Pellegrino Young Chef 2015” allowed Matteo to highlight his abilities in front of important Chefs.
And precisely Chef Cracco has selected him between the 12 best emerging young Chefs in Italy, starting the “Maestro Martino Association” and today, together with his colleagues, he teaches for the cuisine lovers.
His cuisine is based on the combination of typical products of the territory, interpreting them with elegance due to his creative talent.
OUR MAÎTRE ANDREA SBRIZZO
Contagious smile and “good fellow” attitude: this is Andrea Sbrizzo, our Head Waiter.
High levelled Curriculum Vitae for a simple and modest person. Andrea inherited the art of welcoming from his Umbrian father and Friulian mother, who have always worked in the restaurant world. After some vocational education in Friulian restaurants, thanks to his ambition, he aims to more and more pretigious places.
He works for some years at “La Frasca di Lauzacco” in Udine and “Da Nando” in Mortegliano, but the big step forward is in 2006, due to the encounter with the Bastianich family, which leads him to great success in their Restaurant “del Posto” in New York City.
Here he starts as simple Chef de Rang, and becomes in a few years, together with some colleagues, Head Waiter.
In 2013 Andrea is selected by Bastianich as General Manager for his first Reastaurant in Europe: Orsone.
Today he is part of the team of “la Gallina” and together with family Moccagatta and his team he will care for you.
We are sure it won’t take long to let yourself conquer, by his kind expression and great professionalism.
